Privacy-first by default
Lumli is designed so everyday image, PDF, color, and QR workflows can run in your browser instead of being uploaded to a cloud editing service.
Files stay on your device
- Image resizing, compression, conversion, color extraction, QR generation, and most PDF actions are processed locally in your browser.
- AI tools such as background removal, object retouching, and upscaling run through browser workers and local model inference where supported.
- Your media files are not intentionally uploaded to Lumli servers for normal tool processing.
Browser storage
- Lumli may save temporary uploads, theme settings, and technical app cache in localStorage, IndexedDB, localforage, or browser cache on your own device.
- The progressive web app and AI model files may be cached so tools load faster and can keep working offline after the first load.
Network requests
- The site itself, app assets, fonts, workers, and AI model files may be downloaded from Lumli or configured asset hosts.
- Support links, external articles, and donation links are third-party destinations and are governed by their own privacy practices.
- Lumli does not need an account for the tools listed on this site.
Anonymous usage counter
- Lumli keeps a single completed-actions counter to show general product usage on the site.
- When a tool action finishes, the app sends only an increment request to the counter. The request does not include your image, file name, generated output, email, account details, or personal content.
- The counter database stores only the numeric total, not user IDs, IP addresses, personal records, or individual tool details.
Cookies and analytics
- Lumli does not use advertising cookies in the app.
- If privacy-friendly analytics are added later, this policy should be updated before those events are collected.
- Your browser or installed PWA may store technical cache data required to load the app quickly.
Your choices
- You can clear Lumli site data, cache, and storage from your browser settings at any time.
