Offline use and PWA installation

Install Lumli

1. 1Open lumli.io in a supported browser.
2. 2Use the browser’s Install app, Add to Home Screen, or equivalent menu action.
3. 3Confirm installation and launch Lumli from the new icon.

What offline support means

A local feature can work offline only after its page, scripts, workers, and any required model files have loaded and been cached. A first visit, an uncached feature, an update, or a cleared browser cache can require another connection.

Prepare before going offline

1. 1While connected, open each tool you expect to use.
2. 2Wait for required assets or models to finish loading.
3. 3Run a small test file and confirm that export succeeds.
4. 4Switch offline and test the intended workflow before relying on it in the field.

Storage and updates

Cached models and application assets can consume device storage. Browsers may remove cache under storage pressure. When Lumli is updated, reconnect so the service worker can download the latest app version.
